If I recall correctly, the two Catholic schools mentioned here were the ones the U of I Newman students volunteered at for a few years in a row during spring break. Can anybody confirm or correct that?

im not sure about those two schools, but i do know for sure that newmanites volunteered at st. claire's in waveland, mississippi. st. claire's was also destroyed by katrina. either way, it is amazing the way God brings justice and even peace through tragedy.
Ah yes, thank you Liz! St. Clare was one of them. I'm wondering if maybe St. peter was the other one. Anybody else help me out?
