Reading assignments
- This lengthy New Yorker report on Garry Kasparov, who is being nudged into running for the Russian presidency, is worth a skim, though it's too long by about 1000 words.
- Likewise, this essay on human trafficking from the New York Review of Books is a good survey of the problem.
