Street Music

The WaPo persuaded one of the best violinists in the world to play in a D.C. subway station. The write-up is a very enjoyable read.

Wow, that was a cool story. (I might be biased that in high school, a friend and I drove up to the DC mall and played guitar on the street. He did better than we did; I seem to remember making just about $30 all day. Then the second day a couple of mounted cops told us that if it looked like we were begging for money, they would confiscate the money and our guitars).
