A 13 year old on divorce
Sara Butler Nardo of Family Scholars recently blogged an advice columnist's excellent response to a woman thinking about leaving her husband. Now, the same columnist has published a letter from a 13 year old girl whose parents are going through a divorce. It's a very sad but very important perspective.

A pity the columnist didn't seem to absorb the lesson. "Your family isn't falling apart, it's just different!" Yeah, right.

I welcome and encourage everybody to let me know what they think. It's OK to disagree with me, just be nice. I reserve the right to delete comments which are uncharitable, even if I agree with the content. My standards are purely subjective, so don't even bother trying to figure them out.
